Removing Stuck Disk from Floppy Disk Drive:
Tonight I got a disk stuck in the 3 1/2 floppy disk drive and the top came off of the disk. I tried shaking it loose and a small wire and was about to start taking the disk drive apart Then I got this finger nail file and put some two sided tape on it stuck it in the slot and the disk came right out.

Where there are electronic components, there always seems to be an abundance of wires, cords and plugs running here, there and everywhere. When everything is connected, I take digital pictures of the connections to the pieces of equipment. This easily documents how all the wires, plugs etc. need to be configured if I have to disconnect and move the equipment for any reason. This also is a great help when adding or replacing equipment. I print a copy of the picture(s) and attach to the equipment manuals and have a copy of the pictures in a file on my computer to refer to and print out as needed.
